Winchester Manor
[ ]The Grounds
The manor has a wide, sweeping lawn out front. An overgrown drive runs a sinuous path away from the house. A wrought iron gate once blocked the path, but has been broken many years, and now serves as a vantage point from which Windburne can be seen at the base of the hill.

[ ]The Basement
The basement is a maze of cluttered, dark rooms filled with the odds and ends that accumulate over years. It's worth looking through, because, as they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure.

[ ]The First Floor
The first floor of the manor has seven rooms, at least half of which are unused. All the rooms are open, but even those in use are often filled with dust.

[ ]The Second Floor
The second floor of the manor has small, circular rooms on either end of the hall. A bedroom sits on either side of each tower room. There are even some beds left over.

[ ]The Attic
The attic is much like the basement, filled with boxes and chests of things. A careful search could uncover something useful - furniture, toys...maybe even something valuable.

Windburne
[ ]The Square
This is this very center of Windburne, and is the gateway to the town. The Church stands at one end, facing the road that leads east out of town. The Clinic is on the north edge, the cafe on the south.

[ ]The Church
The Church hasn't been known by any other name since the world ended. Its steeple can be seen from anywhere in the town, and is used as the guiding point to get to the town square. The inside of the church has been remarkably untouched.

[ ]The Clinic
The clinic was thrown together in an abandoned house. The "beds" are often little more than piles of blankets and cushions on the floor. Medical supplies are scarce, so determination is needed.

[ ]The Cafe
The Cafe was once one of those quaint little places everyone in town knew. Now it serves as a meeting point and gathering place for the people in Windburne. Town meetings are usually held here.

[ ]The Hotel
The Hotel is the place to visit for those just passing through Windburne. Nomads are expected to stay here, and should make sure to talk to the Manager when they first arrive. It's sort of a sanctuary for Nomads - the townspeople won't pick a fight on the property.

Windburne Outskirts
[ ]The Wall
Something of a misnomer, the Wall is little more than a knee-high collection of bricks, rocks, and cinder blocks. On the Wild side of the Wall, however, there is a four foot deep, six foot across ditch. The ditch is in the process of being filled with sharpened stakes.

[ ]The Cemetery
The cemetery was originally a pretty average, small town cemetery; old enough to be big, it wasn't sprawling until the world ended. Its most prominent feature is the Mausoleum that has sat in the center for longer than anyone can remember.

The Wild
[ ]The Safe House
This house is a stopping point for Nomads and Bunkers passing from one town to another. There are a few weapons kept in the basement, and most of the bedrooms can be easily closed up. Only a few Raiders know the location of the house.

[ ]The Farm
No one knows who used to live here, but they left no record of themselves. The house was abandoned long before the world ended, and has served as a stopping point for those leaving the city.

[ ]The Clearing
The clearing can be found a mile from Windburne, and serves as a meeting place for when people don't want to be caught. On more than one occasion it has served as the sight of a grudge fight or brawl.

Forbidden City
[ ]The Warehouses
The warehouses that are gathered near the edge of the city. Most the warehouses are no longer usable - either filled with worthless trash, or damaged beyond repair. Those that can still be accessed offer a great place to spend the night. ...If there's not already something there.

[ ]The Den
This is an old department store that has not seen a human since the beginning. It is widely believed to be where a large pack of Lesser Unknown live.

[ ]The Hospital
Once a thriving center of healing, it is now nearly empty. It's once-extensive supply of medicines has not yet been exhausted, and so it can still help if you're in need of a fixing up.

[ ]The Mall
Though it has been abandoned and raided already, there is still potential. A person or persons with enough determination might still be able to make a few bucks out of it.

[ ]The Shelter
The massive building was once an upper-class hotel, and it still shows the marks of its past. The rooms are very nice, the majority of them still sporting all their amenities - though the water isn't always on.

[ ]The Graveyard
Threads that have been sitting around too long will be moved here. Feel free to look them over.
